Our focus is new installation and full replacement rather than patch repairs. A fence at the point of repair after repair costs more over time than a fence built right once, and it never looks as good doing it.
We use the construction details most installers skip: posts sized and set for North Texas clay, quality lumber instead of the cheapest bundle, and finish work that makes the whole street look better. That is why neighbors ask who built ours. We build across Plano, Frisco, McKinney, and Allen.

Who pays for a fence between two houses?
There is no North Texas rule that makes your neighbor pay. In practice these land one of three ways: split down the middle, split by the run each house faces, or one homeowner builds it alone and keeps the decision. All three are normal here. We build fences and we are not attorneys, so we will not tell you what you are owed. What we can do is give you a quote built to be shown to somebody else.
If you are splitting the cost
Ask for it itemized by run and by foot, not as one number. A quote that shows the shared run separately from the rest of your fence is a quote you can hand your neighbor without arguing about what is in it. Ours are written that way, and we will break out a shared section on request.
If it does not look that bad yet
Plenty of people get asked to chip in on a fence that still looks fine from their side. We will walk it with you and tell you what we see, posts and bottom boards first, because that is where a fence actually goes. If what we see is that it can wait a couple of years, we will say that too.
If you would rather not involve them
That is a real option and a common one. We can build your side, on your property, on your schedule, to the standard you want, and leave the negotiation out of it entirely. Your fence, your call, your timeline.
And the question underneath the question, which side gets the finished face, has no single answer in North Texas. Your HOA may have a rule, one city we build in has a narrow one, and everywhere else it is a conversation. It is easier to settle looking at photographs than reading paragraphs, so we will bring some.
