New and replacement cedar fences

We build new cedar privacy fences and replace worn ones in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney and Allen. Every job is quoted itemized, so you can see where the money goes.

Starting from bare ground? The fence installation page covers the materials, the process, and what a quote covers.

The Overlap

Board on board or side by side?

Board on board

Board on board overlaps the boards, so there is no gap to see through. It costs more, and it is most of what we build.

Side by side

Side by side sets the boards edge to edge, and small gaps can show between them.

How to tell if a fence quote is fair

Ask for it itemized, so you can lay one bid next to another. Ours is, and most projects start around $2,500. We are rarely the cheapest bid, and we would rather say so up front.

Send a photo of the fence line and the address through our contact page and we will price it straight. For serious projects, the in-person estimate is free.

Will the posts lean later on?

We stand behind them. Our 5-year craftsmanship warranty covers leaning or shifting posts on our own work. We also replace cedar fences that already lean. Stain will not straighten a post, and the fence staining page explains what it does and does not do.

Common Questions

Cedar privacy fence questions, answered

Quick answers before you request a quote.

How often do you restain a cedar fence?

About every three years, on a schedule our office tracks. That is our schedule, not a law of wood, and plenty of people let cedar go silver-gray instead. Stain is a finish, not a repair. The fence staining page has the full answer.

How do I pay for a new fence?

In thirds: one third when you book, one third when we start, and one third when the work is done. Every quote is itemized.
